Dr. Pia Patricia P. Tenedero, the assistant director of the University of Santo Tomas Research Center for Social Sciences and Education, is named the recipient of the 2024 Virginia A. Miralao Excellence in Research Award (VAMERA) on 7 August 2024, at the University of Santo Tomas Campus, Manila City.
The Virginia A. Miralao (VAM) Excellence in Research Award provides a cash prize for the best article in a social science journal, book chapter, or book written by a promising young scholar in the profession. The awardee also receives a unique trophy especially designed by noted Filipino artist Toym Imao.
