We are pleased to inform you that PSSC is administering a new fellowship program – the Saliksik Kasaysayan: A Fellowship Program to Develop a Compendium of Philippine History. Saliksik Kasaysayan is a ten-month program that aims to take stock of and secure the articles, materials, and references on the different periods in Philippine history.
Nine fellows will be awarded with a fellowship grant to work on the following period/subject areas of Philippine history:
a. pre-colonial period
b. the Spanish rule (1521-1898) – 2 fellows
c. the American rule (1898-1946) and Japanese occupation (1941–1946)
d. the post-independence period (1946-1971)
e. Martial law (1972-1986)
f. the Fifth Republic (1986-present)
g. special volume on Muslim Mindanao
h. special volume on Indigenous Peoples communities
A fellow will be granted P250,000.00 to undertake the research.
