The Climate Dialogues: Bolstering Climate Action with Social Science

The Philippine Social Science Council and the Oscar M. Lopez Center invite you to The Climate Dialogues: Bolstering Climate Action with Social Science on 27 January 2021 from 9:00-11:00 AM via Zoom. 

This event continues the initial brainstorming with social scientists last October, which generated a number of questions and concerns on climate change from the perspective of the social sciences.

The upcoming event will focus on how the social sciences can help and contribute to solving climate change. The conversations will be moderated by Dr. Flordeliz Abanto and will feature representatives from different fields of social sciences, including Prof. Rosalie Arcala Hall (Political Science), Dr. Helen Dayo (Anthropology), Mr. Jim Duran (Communication), Atty. Alex Gamboa (Law), Dr. Emmanuel Luna (Community Development), Dr. Rene Ofreneo (Labor / Industrial Relations), and Dr. Oliver Sta. Ana (Psychology).
