Philippine Economic Society to hold Mindanao Regional Forum

The Philippine Economics Society is once again holding regional fora this year, starting with the Mindanao Regional Forum on 7 July 2021! The forum’s theme is “Plantations for Peace in Mindanao Conflict Areas: Pitfalls, Promise, and Prognosis,” featuring panelists from the academe, private sector, and government.
The forum will be livestreamed here in their Facebook page, but the first 75 registrants will be given access to join via Zoom.

The forum is organized by the PES and the Northern Bukidnon State College, in partnership with the University of the Philippines School of Economics, the Ateneo de Manila University Department of Economics, the University of Hawaii Center for Southeast Asian Studies, and the University of Michigan Center for Southeast Asian Studies.
