Dealing with the Deficit of Primary Health Care Workers

This policy brief is part of the study, “A Situational Analysis of Selected Programs Addressing the Shortage of Primary Care Workforce within the Primary Healthcare Approach,” under the Policy Studies for Political and Administrative Reforms (PSPAR) project, which is funded by the GAA 2021 FCR Project: January to December 2021. The funding of this project was coursed through, and administered by, the University of the Philippines Center for Integrative and Development Studies (UP CIDS). The authors also acknowledge the insights culled from the research reports of the University of the Philippines Center for Integrative and Development Studies (UP CIDS) Program on Alternative Development (AltDev), and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Jakarta Office.
