Objective:
To assess and analyze the achievement orientations of today’s youth towards school and employment, and their self-identities or definitions as individuals and members/citizens of larger social wholes (families, communities, the nation and the world).
Project Description:
A joint project of the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines (UNACOM) and the Philippine Social Science Council (PSSC), the Study of Filipino Youth Transitions sought to describe the interests, value priorities, influences, self-concept and aspirations of today’s Filipino youth. The project involves the survey of senior high school students in selected schools in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
