The University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication Foundation Inc. (UPCMCFI), in cooperation with the Philippine Press Institute (PPI) and the Philippine Social Science Council (PSSC), with the support of the Nickel Asia Corporation, present this free webinar on Media Freedom in the time of Pandemic on 3 September 2020, 2:00-5:00 p.m., on PPI’s Facebook page (@philpressinstitute).
The esteemed speakers include: Prof. Danilo A. Arao, Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism, UP College of Mass Communication; Ms. Carolyn O. Arguillas, Editor-in-Chief of MindaNews; and Ms. Tess Bacalla, former Executive Director of the Southeast Asian Press Alliance and a journalist for the Business World Publishing Corp. The webinar will be moderated by PPI Executive Director, Mr. Ariel C. Sebellino.
